schoolIt’s never too early to think about high school.

If your child is in grades 6-8 right now the Near North District School Board is there to help.

The board is holding many different information sessions over the next few weeks at 6 area high schools.

The sessions vary from general student information nights at Almaguin Highlands Secondary School, Chippewa, F J McElligott, Northern, West Ferris and Widdifield to specialized Baccalaureate sessions at Chippewa.

The next session is tonight (Wednesday) for incoming grade 9 students at Widdifield.

Tomorrow there’s a session for incoming grade 7 and 9 students at West Ferris.  As well, there’s an information night for incoming grade 9 students at Northern.

Next week, there’s a session for incoming grade 9 students at Almaguin Highlands. That’s Monday night and on Thursday, there’s an event for incoming grade 7 and 9 students at FJ McElligott in Mattawa.

There are also two events coming up in February at Chippewa: One for current Chippewa students in the International Baccalaureate program. That’s on February 3rd and one for incoming Grade 9 students on February 9th.
