Marcus Lewis - Nipissing Lakers Men's Basketball A busy weekend of varsity sports for Nipissing University. 

Both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams host Ryerson Friday then Toronto on Saturday. 

Both basketball teams entertain Laurentian on Saturday. 

The women’s match-up at 6pm is the Shoot For The Cure in support of cancer research. 

Every CIS women’s basketball team is hosting one game in a fundraising effort. 

Meantime, both Nipissing hockey teams are on the road this weekend.  The men play Waterloo Saturday then Laurier on Sunday.  The women take on Laurier Saturday, then Waterloo on Sunday. 

In OCAA volleyball, both the men and women at Canadore entertain Seneca on Saturday and Centennial on Sunday. 

The women are 11-1 on the season and are tied for first in the standings with Durham. 

Meantime, in men’s basketball, Canadore is home for George Brown Saturday night.
