barn raising projectAn exhibit to illustrate the beauty of Canadian rural landscape;  that’s the idea behind the new Barn Raising Project exhibit at the Discovery North Bay Museum.

Director and Curator Naomi Rupke says the exhibit was put together by the Simcoe County Museum and features 40 different pieces of rug hooking art work on display. She says they thought this would be an exhibit that attracts the interest of many residents.

Rupke adds members of the North Bay Rags to Riches Hooking Guild will be at the Museum on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm to demonstrate the art of rug hooking.

The exhibit is on display until February 28th
