Dennis Chippa invested into the Order of Ontario

North Bay’s Dennis Chippa was invested into the Order of Ontario at a ceremony in Toronto on Wednesday.

The well known community leader was invested by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario at a ceremony at Queens Park.

Chippa is involved with many community organizations through his work at the AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area but also volunteering at The Warming Centre and Haleyfest.

He previously told us he was receiving the honor for the compilation of his efforts and he’s honored.  Chippa says he got the sense of giving back from his parents.
