nature film2Some award winning nature films are being shown at the Nipissing University Theatre tonight (Friday) and all day tomorrow.

The Nature Film Festival includes nine films from the prestigious Jackson Hole Wyoming Nature Film Festival.

There will also be some speakers describing activities at Nipissing University and the work of Forests without Borders, which is a registered charity.

They help people in vulnerable environments restore forests so that they can improve their livelihoods and the environment.

Some of the movies describe some of the areas where Forests without Borders operates and the dilemmas related to balancing environmental and social needs.

The festival is free, but voluntary donations to Forests without Borders are welcome.

Money raised will help them implement their projects.
