Councillor Maroosis to Chair Operations Review Committee

It won’t be a slash and burn exercise but the goal for the Operational Review Committee is to find efficiencies.

Councillor George Maroosis is the chair of this new committee and he says it’s never a bad thing to have a hard look at how the city runs.

He says this will be a year long review with everything possible including changes in operations, money saved and resources shared.

Maroosis says it will be a very open process as they will work with every member of their organization.

He says if they are going to have a meaningful review it’s going to come with all their employees in mind.

Maroosis adds they will find areas to include public input as it’s the only way they will really be able to move forward.
