Two people safe after snow machine goes through ice on Lake Nipissing

A scary incident on Lake Nipissing Monday afternoon for two snowmobilers.

OPP Community Safety Officer Carolyn Ward explains what happened.  

She says the snowmobilers were able to get themselves to safety.

She says it is unsafe to go on the ice in that area and there is OPP tape up.

Ward advises against bringing ice huts out on the lake at this point.
