Law Enforcements Polar PlungeIt’s called the Polar Plunge and city police are teaming up with the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for a winter fundraiser.

Special Olympics Ontario is benefiting from the March 20th event, which sees people collect donations and then jump into the icy waters of Lake Nipissing, at the waterfront.  Special Olympics Ontario is a non-profit organization that helps provide quality sports and training programs for children, youth and adults with an intellectual disability.

Registration for the Polar Plunge is $100 but the fee is waived for those who raise $150, or $75 for students.

More information can be found at www.polarplunge.ca.
