Canadore facility(File photo) Canadore College is starting work on developing a curriculum to start up India’s aviation sector.

Last April a partnership was announced between the college and India’s National Skills Development Corporation which would see Canadore provide assistance for this industry.

College President George Burton says VP Finance and Corporate Services Richard Peters is over there right now continuing this work.

Burton says once the curriculum is put in place there will be delegates from India making their way to Canadore.

He says their training masters will learn how Canadore trains their individuals and that will be followed by small contingent of students who have been schooled in North America to learn at Canadore before going back to India.

Burton says the next steps will be an upgrade in the training program and it’s faculty.
