Mayor Al McDonald says Infrastructure spending the key in provincial fiscal plan

Ontario’s budget will be introduced next week.

The provincial government made the announcement yesterday with the Finance Minister saying the fiscal plan will be announced on February 25th.

North Bay Mayor Al McDonald says every city is hoping to hear good things from the province. McDonald says infrastructure spending is the key.

McDonald says the city itself is spending $39-million on infrastructure in 2016.

He adds the more money they can get from other levels of government for projects would be greatly appreciated by the city.
