Pole vaulter from North Bay wins bronze at NCAA invitational

A bronze medal for North Bay’s Alison Fung at an NCAA Division 1 invitational meet in Ohio on the weekend.

The University of Guelph pole vaulter was third with a season best jump of 3.67 meters which has her ranked fifth in the OUA.

The OUA championships take place later this month (Feb 26th & 27th) at the University of Windsor.

The top 12 athletes from across Canada move on the CIS championship in mid-March at York University.
