Robotics team ready to go

Let the games begin.

 First Team 1305 the North Bay Robotics program has unveiled its team of students, it’s robot and it’s competition schedule. 

The name of the team is Ice Cubed and the robot’s name is Sophie. 

Captain Benjamin Reevie says they have a unique robot.

He says Sophie has 14 wheels more than others and they have a unique hard rubber tire opposed to other teams which have more of a air filled tire.

The team built the robot in just over 6 weeks.

They will compete at three regional events including one in North Bay.

The competition this year is called Stronghold.
