A new event coming to the North Bay YMCA

Registration is underway for a new event at the North Bay YMCA.

It’s called the Bay Elevator Trifunathon and it is set for Sunday April 17th.

Lynette O’Donnell, the membership services supervisor at the Y says the entry fee is 30 dollars and all funds raised support the Strong Kids campaign. 

She says there are 3 ways to register.  

O’Donnell says  you can register on line at ymcanorthbay.com-trifunathon, by phone at 705-497-9622 or in person by registering at the front desk.

She says it’s a fun non competitive event and there will be a 10 k cycle, a 5 k walk or run and a 500 Metre swim.

O’Donnell says you get a choose when you’ll do the three events.

She says the choices are 7 am, 10 am or 1 pm but space is filling up fast. 

The registration deadline is April 1st.
