fungNorth Bay’s Alison Fung competed at the CIS track and field championships this weekend at York University.

The former Chippewa Raider earned herself a silver medal and claimed a top 10 ranking 2 weeks ago by placing 4th at OUA championships.

Fung also performed at the national competition with a 9th place finish in her event.

The Guelph Gryphon women had top spot after Day 2 of the championships but fell behind the University of Toronto by 14 points on Day 3, claiming CIS team silver.

This marks the end of the indoor track and field season for Fung who will be returning to Guelph University next year to compete in her 5th of eligibility in the CIS.
