Several Charges for Various Offences This Past Weekend

Corporate Communications Coordinator Marie Lugli says they received 265 calls for service and 12 people were arrested.

The charges include break and enter, assault, aggravated sexual assault, assault peace officer, resisting arrest, mischief under 5 Thousand Dollars, public intoxication and impaired driving.

A 27 year old North Bay man is facing several charges following an incident on Friday afternoon.

Police say two occupants inside a residence on McIntyre Street East were assaulted around 4 pm.

27 year old Paul Roland St-Pierre has been charged with break and enter, resisting arrest and two counts of assault.

Police say a male resisted arrest before being taken into custody.
