A major fire at Minesteel resulted in millions of dollars in damage.

North Bay Fire Department Platoon Chief Greg Kraft says they received the call around 6:30am and when they arrived there was heavy smoke and flames visible.

He says it was an intense battle.

Kraft says there was extreme heat and heavy damage to the building.

Kraft says there were no injuries reported and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to continue the investigation.
