st lukes1We told you last month about  a class of grade 8 students in North Bay trying  to win a national contest.

It’s called Canada’s coolest school trip and the winning class gets an all expenses paid trip to Jasper National Park in Alberta.

Well the on line voting is in and the video put out by St Luke Catholic School in North Bay got more votes than any others.

The students visited Bellevue House in Kingston the home of Sir John A McDonald, the father of Confederation.

Teacher of the students Josee King says they’ve made the cut at being ranked in the top 10 and will find out the week nof April 11th if they’re the grand prize winners or recipients of one of the secondary prizes.
