North Bay Fire Chief updates user fees by law

Earlier this year North Bay City Council passed a bylaw confirming North Bay Fire Department user fees.

Fire Chief Grant Love says a few were missed and so council needs to pass them. 

Last night, at a committee meeting they were addressed through an amendment.

He says one of the items concerns large spills.

Love says there an internal paper issue and it was brought forward last night.

Love says people will get the chance to get outdoor burning permits on line in the future.

He says that’s not possible right now but it is being worked on.
