In the OHL playoffs, the North Bay Battalion are down 2 games to 1 to the Petes, after dropping game three last night (Tuesday) in Peterborough.

Mathew Santos had a hat trick for North Bay with Steve Harland, Mike Amadio and Brett McKenzie adding singles.

Jake Smith made 35 saves in the loss.

Game four goes tomorrow night (Thursday).

Elsewhere, Mississauga leads Barrie 2 games to 1 after a 4-3 win in double overtime last night, Sarnia beat Sault Ste Marie 5-2 with the Greyhounds still leading that series 2-1, Kingston is up 3-0 on Oshawa after a 5-4 win last night and Erie doubled Saginaw 6-3 to take a 3-0 series lead.

In the NOJHL playoffs,  there won’t be a game 7 for the Powassan Voodoos.

Kirkland Lake advances with a 4-1 win last night, winning the series 4 games to 2.

Kyle Moore had the lone Powassan goal.
