Battalion looking to even their series at 1 with the Colts tonight

The Troops are looking to even their playoff series with the Colts tonight (Monday) in Barrie.

After losing 5-2 last Thursday, the North Bay Battalion will be looking for the split tonight; in a building they have won big games in over last two years.

In 2014, North Bay won Game Six at the Barrie Molson Centre to move on to the OHL Eastern Conference Final and they did the same last year in Game 5.

Meantime, Brett McKenzie, Zach Poirier, Brady Lyle and now Adam McMaster; those are the first round draft picks chosen by the Battalion in their first four drafts in North Bay.

The latest, McMaster, became a Troop just this past Saturday, taken 13th overall.

He says he’s looking forward to working under Head Coach Stan Butler and his staff.

McMaster says his short time at the Junior B level should help him make big strides.
