Battalion battle but fall short in Game Three

The North Bay Battalion are on the brink of elimination after dropping game three of their playoff series 4-2 to the Barrie Colts.

The Battalion got goals from Mike Amadio and Mat Santos and trailed 3-2 going into the third period, but could not get an equalizing goal. Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says he would like to see more contributions from the rest of his team.

North Bay will host game four on Thursday.

The Troops trailed 2-0 after the first and 3-2 after second but could not tie the game in third.

Battalion Head Coach Stan Butler says the game plan is simple, the Troops need to get better if they want to pick up a win on Thursday.

Jake Smith made 22 saves in the loss.
