World championship curling ticket drive launched

There’s an effort underway to get the 2018 World Women’s Curling Championship in North Bay. 

Organizers have announced a ticket drive.

They need people to put down a 100 dollar deposit on a week long pass.

The North Bay bid must be in by the middle of June and it must indicate by then what the interest is.

Mayor Al McDonald says hosting this event would bring 6 Million Dollars to the community in economic impact.

The event if the bid is successful would be played in March at Memorial Gardens.
