Drew Sinclair Top Fish 3(Submitted) CT33 swimmers, 11 and under, competed against teams from across Northeastern Ontario at the Top Fish Meet held at the Ruben Yli-Juuti Centre in Elliot Lake on the weekend. This developmental meet was hosted by the Elliot Lake Aquatic Club.

Drew Sinclair (pictured) and Peyton Paralovos led the medal count with four first place finishes. Other Thunderbirds excelling at the meet were Timothy Corbeil, Abbie Crewson, and Rileigh Paralovos and Abigail Betsill.

Personal best times were recorded by most of the CT33 swimmers at this event.
Other CT33 team members, Trael Daly Stevens and Olivia Trottier, attended 2016 Future Stars Swimming Camp hosted by Nickel City Aquatics in Sudbury over the weekend.

The event attracted nearly thirty swimmers ages 11-18 with a minimum of Ontario C Standard times. The camp provides athletes with the unique opportunity to learn from and interact with Canadian Olympians.

Two- time Canadian Olympic Team Member, Audrey Lacroix, provided camp attendees the opportunity to improve their stroke techniques, starts, turns and overall performance.

North Bay coaches Pierre Simard, Penny Lecour, Ray Picco, Hillar Lainevool, Jennifer Piper and Rhianna Bovair said they were pleased with the results from the meet and the success and growth of all swimmers at both events.
