North Bay PoliceA  25 year old female is facing several charges following many incidents of assault at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

North Bay Police say a patient between January and March of this year at the hospital’s mental health unit assaulted 4 staff members and threatened two others.

She’s been charged with two counts of uttering threats, three counts of assault and one count of assault causing bodily harm.

None of the injuries suffered by the victims were life threatening.

Also, North Bay Police have conducted a traffic enforcement blitz this morning at the Cst. Fred Lefebvre overpass leading to Lakeshore Drive.

Between 9 and 11 am, 15 speeding tickets were issued and 2 72 hour notices were issued for documentation as there was no insurance slip or proof of ownership when stopped.
