Goods Exchange Day Saturday

You may see a few unfamiliar items on your neighbors driveway this Saturday. 

That’s because it’ll be one of the two days the year where the city holds a Goods Exchange Day. 

Waste Management Co-ordinator Al Tomek says instead of throwing unwanted household items away you can put them out on the curb on Saturday morning and people can claim them.

As for what items Tomek says anything really goes including lawn furniture, books, tools and sporting goods but no chemicals.

He says you should have the items out in the morning and anyhting unclaimed should be brought in by 6 pm.
