North_Bay_Conservation_AuthorityThere’s still snow out there according to the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority.

Snow depth ranges from 17 Centimetres in Corbeil to 20 Centimetres in Chisholm and North Bay.

All these readings in the snow survey report are above average compared to previous years.

Water content in the snow is about 7 centimetres which is also above the norm.

The conservation authority says in most years the snow pack is completely melted by mid April but not this year.

Infact the current amount is greater than the long term average for each of the 3 area reading stations.
