Mike Amadio has been named the league wide winner of the most sportsmanlike player of the year.

The award for winning the honor is the William Hanley Trophy voted on by the 20 GM’s. 

All have votes but none can vote for their own player.

Amadio received 65 points.

Christian Dvorak of London placed 2nd and Spencer Watson of Kingston was third.

Amadio placed 9th in league scoring this season with 98 points including 50 goals and was a plus 30 player.

He is the third Battalion player to win the award joining Cody Hodgson and Wojtek Wolski .

Amadio’s 50 goals are the most ever in one season by a Battalion player.

He also set a team record in shorthanded goals this season with 8.
