OVA beach volleyball event coming to Summer In The Park

Another beach volleyball event is coming to North Bay.

Amadeo Bernardi (pictured) says the city will once again be the site of the OVA Grand Slam Volleyball tournament – taking place the weekend of Summer in the Park.

Bernardi says it’s a big draw for the athletes and their families.

He says these players play all over North America, and sometimes the world and for parents to be able to drive north to see them play is a huge bonus, not to mention they get to take part in Summer in the Park festivities.

Bernardi says this will be a free event for spectators, and the athletes will be competing for a $10,000 prize.
