A new web site is promoting community care services locally.

The web site northeastcss.ca was developed by Healthline, an organization that provides the latest information for people who need to stay healthy and independent at home.

Marie Leone is the chair of the Regional Community Support Services Network.

She says there’s all kinds of information on the site for seniors, people with physical disabilities and people in need of palliative care services.

She says the site is for health care professionals and patients who need to find out quickly in 1 stop what’s offered in the community.

Leone says people have expressed a desire for assistance in navigating through all the community support services.

She says there are 70 agencies providing 25 different services on the site.

The site has been live for 10 days or so and includes a video of what they offer.
