At the OFSAA Badminton Championships in North Bay Caleb Parfitt and Cameron Yeates of Widdifield took gold in the boys doubles “B” competition.

In the boys doubles “C” competition Gabriel Pharand and Nicholas Babich of Algonquin took home the bronze.

A strong meet for the North Bay Titans Swim Team and the Ontario Division III Championships in Markham last weekend.

The Titans placed 10th overall out of 33 teams.

Ryan Tom had a gold medal, 3 silvers and a bronze.

Steve Cholette had silver and bronze medal performances.

Evan Kilroy achieved a silver medal. Other swimmers earning top 5 finishes were: Ayden Michaud, Megan Tom and Gavin Wall.

Titans posting personal best times included: Noelle Corazza, Leah Dawson, Joshua Gough, Jack Hachkowski, Julie Jonescu, Sheldon Kilroy, Brody Marietti, Alexis Mitchell, Tia Mitchell, William Mitchell, Jillian O’Donnell, Chloe Popp, Julia Rivet, Quinn Schroeder, Katie Sefton, Drew Stephenson, Jennifer Tripp, Katherine Tripp, Fionna Truong, Jorn Van Leemput and Jenna Wall.

Meantime, Evan Kilroy qualified for the Age Group Provincial Championships in the 100 M Breast and Ayden Michaud who qualified for the 12 year old Festival Championships in the 200 M Fly.

Next up is the East Side Mario’s Invitational Meet May 13-15 in Sudbury.
