Mayors of large northern urban centres meeting in North Bay

Rising energy costs, infrastructure funding and the Northern Growth Plan.

Those are just a few of the topics that will be discussed today (Wednesday) at the annual Northern Ontario Large Urban Mayors meeting here in North Bay.

There will also be some presentations from outside organizations such as FedNor.

Mayor Al McDonald is welcoming the mayors and Chief Administrative Officers of Timmins, Thunder Bay, Sudbury and the Sault to today’s meeting.

They’re also expected to talk about strategies for economic development too.
