25 speeding tickets in a 3-hour span on the overpass

A three-hour targeted traffic enforcement on the Lakeshore overpass led to 25 speeding tickets for drivers today (Wednesday).

City police say one vehicle was clocked doing 85 km/hour.

Three drivers were issued 72-hour notices. Two were for failing to show proof of insurance and one for failing to update a driver’s licence with a new address.

Overall, police remind motorists to respect speed limits and focus on the road when driving.
