Giving residents plenty of information about their property and neighbourhoods

It’s called aboutmyproperty.ca and the website is all about providing local property owners details about their property and more.

MPAC Municipal and Stakeholder Relations Account Manager Laura Voltti says assessments were recently sent out with login information for residents.

She says they can learn more about their property and how it was assessed, check the information the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation has on their property, use the interactive map and compare similar properties in their neighbourhoods, but that’s not all,

“Our aboutmyproperty.ca website also has an enhancement this year which is our market trends area. Without even logging in, property owners are able to see what’s going on in the City of North Bay”, Voltti said.  

If residents have questions about the assessment and it’s value they can contact MPAC.

Property owners can also file a request for reconsideration right from the website.

MPAC officials are highlighting the website at a pop-up event in the Lobby of City Hall today until 4 pm.
