The city will be doing some repairs along a stretch of Algonquin Avenue starting at 9 tonight.

Crews will be shutting off water service for some businesses and homes.

The two southbound lanes at Greenwood Avenue will be closed to traffic, with detours being put in place.

Local access won’t be affected.

The work should be done by 5 o’clock tomorrow morning.

Meantime, city officials advise water flushing continues this week.

The streets impacted include Wyld Street, Sherbrooke Street, the Worthington Street area and First and Second Avenues.

You may experience low water pressure or cloudy water but once the flushing stops the city says the water pressure should return to normal.
