Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for the North Bay area.

Tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be very warm and increasingly humid with daytime high temperatures around 30 degrees.

Officials say heat warnings are issued when there is an elevated risk of developing heat-related illnesses like heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

Cooler temperatures are then forecast for Friday.
