Olympic fever reached the city council chamber last night (Monday).

Mayor Al McDonald wished Olympians Dominique Bouchard and Taylor Milne the best of luck as the compete in Rio, “It’s quite an honour to have two Olympic athletes from your community competing in any one games and we’re very proud of them.”

He went on to say, “I just want to wish them well on behalf of the citizens of North Bay and City Council.”

Bouchard‘s next event is the 200m backstroke heats on Thursday while Milne is in the 3000m Steeplechase heats next Monday.
