Battalion training camp opens, Voodoos host Rapids and Titans holding registration

Training camp gets underway today for the North Bay Battalion.

There’s fitness testing today, with on-ice sessions starting tomorrow.

Green-White intra-squad games are being played at 4 pm both tomorrow and Friday, then at 9 o’clock Saturday morning.

The Troops first exhibition game is Sunday in Sudbury.

The Powassan Voodoos play their first pre-season game this afternoon against French River.

Game time is 2:30 pm at the Powassan Sportsplex.

The North Bay Titans Swim Club has two registration sessions.

The first is tonight and the second is next Wednesday.

The sessions go from 6-8 pm in the YMCA lobby.

The season starts September 12th and there will be a free 2 week trial for new swimmers.

Swimmers can be as young as six as long as they’re able to swim 1 length of the pool.
