Man charged after incident at North Bay City Hall Tuesday

A 33 year old man from Spanish, Ontario is facing several charges, including uttering threats and carrying a concealed weapon after an incident at North Bay City Hall yesterday afternoon (Tuesday).

Police were called at about 3:46 pm about a suspicious person, who allegedly threatened an employee.

She believed she and others were at risk.

Police arrested the man on site and say a search revealed he was carrying a rock in a sock.

City Hall was temporarily closed to the public during the incident.
