No shortage of reports of drivers failing to stop for the flashing lights on school buses in North Bay.

The North Bay Police Service Traffic Unit is investigating 8 instances from Friday and another 6 on Monday.

They’ve been reported to police by Stock Transportation and other witnesses.

They’re also happening all over the city, from Jane Street to Tower Drive, Algonquin and Front, Trout Lake Road, Cassells Street and Stockdale Road too.

Meantime, 9 drivers were issued speeding tickets in the O’Brien Street Community Safety Zone yesterday while the amber lights were flashing.

Another three drivers given tickets in the Marshall Avenue Community Safety Zone.

 

North Bay OPP are investigating the theft of a motor home from a camp ground on Little Tomiko Lake.

The RV is described as a 1988 Ford, beige and green econoline RV motorhome.

Police say it was taken sometime between September 10th and 12th and contained a number of personal items.
