In the NOJHL, the Voodoos are home to Cochrane tonight (Monday) at the Powassan Sportsplex.

Game time is 730.

The Voodoos haven’t played since a loss last Monday night against Kirkland Lake.

Powassan is 2-1 on the season so far.

 

The North Bay AAA Midget Trappers are 3-0 on the season.

This after a 4-1 win over Timmins Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gardens.

Four different Trappers, Brett Shawana, Ryan Mills, Cole Craft and Matt Hardwick, scored in the win.

Next up, North Bay travels to New Liskeard on Friday night then entertains the Cubs on Sunday afternoon.

 

In OUA women’s soccer yesterday (Sunday), Nipissing won 3-1 over Trent.

On the men’s side, Nipissing tied Trent 2-2.

The Lakers scored in the 88th minute to tie the game up.

Both teams lost to UOIT on Saturday.

 

The Nipissing women’s hockey team is 3-0 in pre-season play.

This after a couple of wins on the road on the weekend.

After defeating Ottawa 2-1, the Lakers won 4-1 over Carleton on Saturday.

 

The Nipissing men’s Lacrosse team has their first win of the season.

They defeated Queen’s 11-6 yesterday afternoon at Veterans Field.

 

And in NDA high school football on Friday night, St Joseph-Scollard Hall scored a 30-14 win over Algonquin.
