The Powassan Voodoos haven’t lost since October 11th.

They won their 8th straight game Saturday night, 4-1 over the visiting Soo Eagles.

Gary Mantz led the charge with 2 goals for the Voodoos with singles from Tyson Gilmour and Gabriel Rheault.

Powassan is back in action Monday night, entertaining Elliot Lake.

Game time at the Powassan Sportsplex is 7:30 pm.

Meantime, the North Bay Midget AAA Trappers wrapped up play at the Big Nickel tournament in Sudbury with a couple losses to southern Ontario teams on Saturday.

The Trappers lost 3-1 to the Toronto Nationals and 4-1 to the Clarington Toros.

Cole Craft scored for North Bay in both games.

The Trappers finished the tournament with a 1-3 record and are back in league play next Saturday with a game against the Soo Greyhounds in Powassan.
