The North Bay Battalion are in tough this week with three games in three days.

Head coach Stan Butler says it’s a scheduling quirk to see them play at home Thursday then on the road for two game in Hamilton and Erie, but he says he’ll do his best every game and let the chips fall where they may.

Butler says team defence needs to improve and be a priority if they want a chance at winning any of the following three games.

“It’s definitely one part of our game that we got to be better. To Have a chance in this league, you goals against (average) as a team has to be under 3.00 and we have a ways to go before we get there.”

Butler also provided an update on Max Kislinger, who’s only played 4 game this season after suffering an arm injury.

He says the German forward is representing his country at the upcoming Division 1 World Juniors tournament and won’t be available until after Christmas.
