Laurentian Ski Hill is looking for more ski instructors.

They’re offering a level one course early in the new year.

Lead Instructor Lukas Kasperavicius says they’d like to get more young people out at the Ski Hill and more people certified so they can offer more lessons.

He also says there’s plenty of benefits with the job like working outside, getting leadership skills and earning more than the average entry level position.

Those interested in becoming a ski instructor need to be 16, but they also take volunteers at age 14, which allows high school students to collect needed volunteer hours for graduation.
