Remembering "an amazing volunteer and community member"

Condolences are being offered after the passing of a co-founder of the North Bay Food Bank.

Marty Martinello is being remembered for making “life better for countless people in this community.”

Those words in a social media post from Coach4Food founder Tom Hedican.

He also says without Martinello’s blessing, there never would have been a Coach4Food program.

Food Bank Board Chair Katharine Strang says Martinello was “an amazing volunteer and community member.”

She goes on to say the people of North Bay were lucky to have him.

Funeral details have yet to be announced.
