The Powassan Voodoos have now won 22 straight games.

They defeated the Soo Thunderbirds 5-3 last night (Saturday).

Five different Voodoos scored while goaltender Nate McDonald made 32 saves in the win.

The game was also the second annual Pink In The Rink game, supporting the Canadian Cancer Society.

Powassan wraps up the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule Monday night at home to Iroquois Falls.

In the Great North Midget League, the North Bay Midget AAA Trappers rebound from Friday night’s loss to the Soo with a 5-2 win over the Greyhounds.

The same two teams play a third game in a row this afternoon in Sault Ste Marie.
