North Bay City Council has a couple meetings tonight (Monday).

The committee session goes at 7 pm with a report on the procedural bylaw on the agenda.

That’s the report that looked at changes to presentations and moving the council nights to Tuesdays.

Meantime, a special meeting of council goes right after the committee meeting with a few items on the agenda including the appointment of a Chief Administrative Officer.

Last week it was announced Keith Robicheau becomes CAO in early February.

Mayor Al McDonald says Robicheau has a lot of qualifications the city wanted, pointing out he’s a real leader, has worked in municipal government for 30 years and because of that experience he’ll be able to hit the ground running.

McDonald says that’s especially important when dealing with the province and the federal government.
