Almaguin Highlands OPP report a 28 year old man was killed in a snowmobile crash on the weekend.

The incident happened just before 9:30 Saturday night on Cherry Hill Road in Kearney.

Police say a snow machine struck a tree that had fallen across the width of the roadway, ejecting the driver.

The deceased has been identified as Christopher Hill of Emsdale.

The investigation continues.
