The North Bay Battalion hope a little road bonding will end their 7 game losing streak.

They’ll be in Kingston tonight (Friday) to play the Frontenacs.

One player that won’t be in the lineup is Cam Dineen, who is out with a knee injury.

Coach Stan Butler says he’ll will be out of the lineup for quite some time.

“12 weeks until he’s back, so for him to come back you’re looking at probably the last week of the season or the start of the playoffs,” he added.

The Battalion hope to have Jacob Ball back in the lineup this weekend with games to come in Peterborough tomorrow and Ottawa on Sunday.

Broadcast time tonight, from the K-Rock Centre in Kingston, on Country 600 CKAT is 6:55 pm.

Meantime, in the last 3 years, the Battalion have been buyers at the trade deadline and have acquired players like Ryan Kujawinski and Ben Thomson.

The trade deadline is Monday at noon for overage players and Tuesday at noon for all others.

Butler says he’s waiting to answer his phone, but it takes takes two teams to make a deal.

He says “sometimes when your team’s not playing very well people don’t think very highly of your players.”
