A snowfall warning is in effect for much of the northeast, including the North Bay area.

Environment Canada says a developing low pressure system from Colorado is expected to track across the region today, bringing 15 to 20 cm of snow into tonight.

Officials say heavy and blowing snow may reduce visibility at times.

Meantime, the weather has resulted in all school buses across the district being cancelled today (January 10th, 2017).

Schools remain open.
