It’s a key week for the North Bay Battalion as all three of their games in the next four days are against Central Division rivals, starting at home tonight (Thursday) against Mississauga.

The Battalion enter play third in the division and 8th in the Eastern Conference, however, they’re only 3 points out of second.

Coach Stan Butler says the team needs to get points.

He says they haven’t won two games in a weekend in a long time, so he’d like at least four points from the three games.

Tonight is also the home debut of new Troop Jesse Saban who was acquired in a deal with Hamilton last week.

Coach Stan Butler says he’s a steady defenseman who has experience, moves the puck well and defends on the rush well.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 CKAT is 6:55 pm.

Tomorrow the Battalion visit Sudbury and then host Barrie on Sunday afternoon.
